|  You know there is a Schneenee in the house when you rise early (after feeding the baby ) in order to have a quiet time (we're talking pre 6am) only to hear the pitter-patter of little feet. And the slamming of doors. Here's today's culprit.....I think he needs some squeebles..... |

Time for TEA! For her birthday G4 wished very hard for a fancy ball gown and a tea party. Miracles and a little muscle later we celebrated her 9th :) The pattern had been purchased for G1 when she was 4.....and sat in the box for "when I have more time." Persistance and prayer on my girl's part prevailed. Actually, I wasn't sure I could still pleat, ruffle and dart after 15 years of very easy, quick patterns. The tea cups were great grandmother's. On a fun afternote I saw a mennonite young lady at a rest stop on the road to PA wearing a traditional dress of the same fabric----with enormous puffed sleeves (just like Anne). |
